By Emma Lynn

So why go for organic meat? Organic meat 1st of all is 100% USDA Certified. This implies the animals from which the meat came from had been duly inspected by someone certified by a Federal or State agency for USDA standards.

When we buy organic meat, we are assured that the animals where it came from were fed only with pure organic feeds and not with synthetic by-product and genetically engineered foods which are loaded with lots of pesticides and fertilizers. We must note that some of the fertilizers being used for these crops do came from sewage sludge which means industrial and human waste. Could you imagine eating something contaminated with human waste?

These meat products are safe to be consumed by your family because it is free from any toxins or chemicals that might have been ingested by the animals raised in the conventional way.

These animals are given the freedom to go outdoors and enjoy the pasture which is their all-natural habitat. They're not confined in an region and will not be given any chemical enhancer nor were they injected with antibiotics.

Organic meats are free from any irradiation unlike the natural and conventional meats. Irradiation is a process in which food passes through energy gamma rays, x rays and electron beams. While it helped the livestock lengthen its lifespan, it has a harmful effect like mad cow disease and it very dangerous to human when consumed.

Organic meats came from live stocks which are grown not just for purposes of mass production, but for purposes of harvesting protected and healthy meat for human consumption. They are meticulously bred and grown and they may be treated in methods that minimize pressure.

Meat is a good source of protein but let us consume those that does not contain chemical that may cause us more harm than good. Organic meats are produced to give us a better alternative of meat consumption.
